William "Bill" L. Thomas, 68, of Decatur, IL died July 9, 2013 in Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur.
Services will 2:00 pm Friday, July 12, 2013 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.
Visitation will be one hour before service time.
Memorials may be made to donor's choice.
Bill was born August 16, 1944 in Herrin, IL son of Cecil and Edna (Sweet) Thomas. He married Billie Dyer January 16, 1999 in Decatur. She preceded him in death on April 22, 2013.
Bill was retired from the City of Decatur Water Department; he served in the United States Navy and belonged to the Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his step-sons; Les (Terri) Hadley of Herrick, IL, Shane (Jill) Hadley of Ramsey, IL, and Jay (Tami) Hadley of Assumption, IL, step-daughter Beverly (Shane) Trudeau of Moweaqua, IL, brothers; Ronald Thomas of Claremont, FL and Arleigh Thomas of Decatur, IL.
Preceding him in death are his parents and wife.
