William "Bill" Joseph Miller, 83, of Moweaqua, died June 25, 2025, in his home.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025 in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church of Moweaqua, with a one-hour visitation prior to service time.  Burial, with full military rites, will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Moweaqua.  Memorials may be made to St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church or Moweaqua Golf Course.

Bill was born on December 6, 1941 in Decatur, IL, the son of Paul and Onerine (DeBrun) Miller.  He married Mitche Lamb on August 18, 1962 in Pana, IL.  She survives.

Bill was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church of Moweaqua and proudly served in the United States Army.  He was an avid golfer and served as a member of the Moweaqua Golf Course Board.

Surviving are his wife, Mitche; daughters: Jo Lynn (Daniel) Carton of Sullivan, IL and Terri (Steve) Junge of New Athens, IL; grandchildren: Travis, Bret, Stephanie, Steven, Nathan, and Craig; brother, Daniel, (Tina) Miller of Decatur, IL; and sisters: Barbara Collins of Moweaqua, IL and Debby Miller of Decatur, IL.

Preceding him in death are his parents.
