Virginia B. Bilyeu, 98, of Moweaqua, died March 16, 2016 in Columbia City, IN.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2016 in First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Burial will be in Bilyeu Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Music or First United Methodist Church Youth.

Virginia was born October 14, 1917, in Moweaqua, the daughter of John B. and Margaret (Still) Robinson. She married Lyle D. Bilyeu, February 20, 1938, in Moweaqua. He preceded her in death June 21, 1969.

Virginia was a member of First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua, past member of Eastern Star, WSCS, Moweaqua PTA, Moweaqua Jr. Woman's Club and New Era Club. She worked for Dr. Foster in Moweaqua, Flora Jewelers for 19 years, Borg Warner for 9 years and baked all of the desserts for the Raspberry Tea Room.

Surviving are her son, Jack Bilyeu of Panorama City, CA; daughter, LaMeeka "Mickey" (Lynn) English of Columbia City, IN; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren and sister, LaVon Kroenlein of Moweaqua.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband; son, Thomas Lyle Bilyeu; one brother and three sisters.
