Vickie Lee Faber, 62, of Assumption, IL, died May 9, 2026 in The Gardens Nursing and Rehab, Potosi, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption, with a visitation at noon, one hour prior to service time.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.

Vickie was born on October 20, 1963 in Pana, IL, the daughter of George and Patricia (McCarty) Cox.  She married Dennis Faber on March 28, 1987 in Lincoln, IL.  He survives.

Vickie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn, IL and took great pride in her nursing career. She enjoyed arts and crafts and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Dennis; son, Aaron (Mylene) Faber of Pekin, IL; daughters: Ashley (Kyle) Cox of Desloge, MO and Angela (Lexi Butler) Faber of Martin, TN; grandchildren: Mason, Mychaela, McKinley, Caden, Marie and Asher; brothers: David (Sandy) Galvin and Michael (Linda) Galvin all of Lincoln, IL, Terry Lynn (Jenny) Galvin of Lake Fork, IL and Roger Cox of Moweaqua, IL; and sisters: Barbara (Jerry) LeDoux of Arizona and Debbie (Wayne) Woolen of Sullivan, IL.

Preceding her in death are her parents, one brother, and two sisters.
