Troy O. Lindsay, 54, of Assumption, died May 27, 2024 in his home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.  Visitation will be from 10:00 – 12:00, prior to service time.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Troy was born on June 6, 1969 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Leslie L. and Sharlene (Young) Lindsay.  He married Crystal Scribner in Shelbyville on June 6, 2009.  She survives.

Troy was employed with GSI for many years.  He enjoyed gardening and was proud to be called "granddad" by his five grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife, Crystal; parents: Leslie and Sherry Lindsay of Tower Hill, IL; mother-in-law, Donna Ohl of Assumption, IL; children: Britni (Russ) Bartley of Tower Hill, IL, Brandon (Courtney) Webb of Taylorville, IL, Trevor (Kelsey) Lindsay of Jacksonville, IL, and Austin (Emily) Webb of Decatur, IL; grandchildren: Tollin, Brooklynn, Ansley, Kannon, and Hazel; brothers: Tommy (Cathy) Lindsay of Tower Hill, IL and Todd (Sarah) Lindsay of Kincaid, IL; brother-in-law, Ronnie (Jenny) Scribner of Decatur, IL; nephews: Elijah (Faith), Izaiah, and Gabe; nieces: Debi, Kellie (Jeremy), Ashley (Tim) Woods, and Shelby (Hunter) Mast; as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, and great-nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death is his father-in-law, Ron "Assumption Asshole"  Scribner; grandparents, Russell and Ida Young; cousin, Robin Brown; great-grandparents; and nephew, Casey Olinger.
