Terry O'Dell Scoles, of Pana died January 18, 2014 in Taylorville Memorial Hospital, Taylorville, IL.

Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption, IL.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption, IL.

Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption,IL

Terry was born April 15, 1965 in Taylorville, IL, the son of Len and Nellie (Mefford) Scoles.

Terry was a farmer for 32 years, working for Kuhle Farms. He loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends. He enjoyed camping, hunting and was an avid fisherman.

Surviving are his children: Michael (Kelly) Scoles of Taylorville, IL, Larry (Carrie) Scoles of Moweaqua, IL, Dena (Charles Tucker) Scoles of Taylorville, Krystal (Jim) Dilley of Assumption,IL, Brittnay Dilley of Tower Hill, IL, Joanna (Jeremy) Sherwood of Neoga, IL, Lawrence (Misty) Van Scyoc of Neoga, IL, Tameika Sandage of Florida ; grandchildren: Joseph and Renee Tucker, Victoria Richardson, Brian, Natylee, Devynne and Delanee Nation, Alyssa, Madison and Brynn Hunter, Zoey and Hannah Scoles, Chloe, Justin, Vinnie and Taylor Palmer, Korben, Christian and Kenli Sherwood, Haley Van Scyoc, Haley Hughes, Mathew and Cascius Browning, Destiny and Daizzy Dilley; great grandchildren: Rylen and Liam; special friend: Paula Dilley; sisters: Marsha (Steve) Eastep of Tower Hill, IL and LaQuita (Ron) Barnes of Martinsville, IN.

Preceding him in death are his parents, twin brother Jerry Len Scoles and sister Evelyn Pfeffer.
