Stephen J. Jordan, 69, of Moweaqua, died October 21, 2022.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in First Christian Church, Moweaqua.  Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2022, also in First Christian Church.  Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Moweaqua.  In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be made to WBGL 88.1 Christian Radio or First Christian Church of Moweaqua.

Stephen was born on October 12, 1953 in Decatur, IL, the son of James and Patty (Wicklein) Jordan.  He married Patricia S. Horn on June 8, 1974 in Moweaqua, IL.  She survives.

Stephen was a member of First Christian Church of Moweaqua, where he served as a Church Leader,  GEAPS (Grain Elevator and Processing Society), serving as Chapter President and Moweaqua Lions Club.   He served the Moweaqua community as a volunteer fireman, Village Trustee, and was involved in community fundraising.  Stephen was employed by Legacy Grain Cooperative as the Grain Superintendent.  He loved his Lord, his family, and was a sports fanatic about his St. Louis Cardinals and Green Bay Packers.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia; mother, Patty Jordan; sons: Perry (January) Jordan of Cantonsville, MD and Ross (Lauren) Jordan of Tremont, IL; grandchildren: Rhys, Stella, Isaiah, Aubrey, and another grandchild due in May; sisters: Peggy (Steven) Ramsey of Tremont, IL and Pam (Steve) Cougill of Charleston, IL; and several aunts, along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death is his father, James Jordan.
