Shirley J. Phillips, 73, of Moweaqua, died April 28, 2018 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018, also in the funeral home. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Moweaqua or Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois.

Shirley was born May 14, 1944 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Roy and Maxine (Lanter) Daggett. She married Jackie Phillips, Sr. November 16, 1963 in Harristown, IL. He survives.

Shirley was affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Moweaqua and formerly worked at the Eastern Star Home in Macon, IL.

Surviving are her husband, Jackie Sr.; sons: Jackie Jr. (Tracy) Phillips and Rodney Phillips, all of Moweaqua; grandchildren: Jackie Marie (Chris) Baker of Port Charlotte, FL and Lakenzie Phillips of Moweaqua; great-grandchildren: Kyle and Kolby Baker of Port Charlotte, FL; brothers: Danny (Sherry) Reed of Cedar Rapids, IA and Jerry Reed of Mt. Olive, IL; sisters: Janet Cole of Chatham, IL and Dorothy (Bernard) Miller of Strasburg, IL and special friends, Larry and Kerry Denton.

Preceding her in death are her parents and sister, Roberta.
