Sean F. Dooley, 58, of Decatur, formerly of Moweaqua, died August 31, 2024 in Shelbyville Rehab & Health Care Center, Shelbyville, IL.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Sean was born on November 21, 1965 in Decatur, IL, the son of Dennis V. and Mary Alice (Lamm) Dooley.  He was a 1983 graduate of Moweaqua High School and a graduate of Southern Illinois University, where he studied Forestry.  Sean worked as a remote sensing analyst for mapping topography as well as a driver for Baldwin Shuttle of Decatur.

Surviving are his brother, Ron (Judy) Dooley of Mattoon, IL and sister, Sally (Bryan) Leitch of Winterville, GA.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brother, Mike Dooley; and nephew, Keith Vincent Leitch.
