Samuel Salvador Sciabica, 85, of Assumption died September 21, 2013, in his home, Assumption, IL.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013, in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumpltion, IL.
Samuel was born February 5, 1928, in Chicago, IL, the son of Joseph and Theresa Sciabica. He married Florence M. Hoisington in Chicago in 1953. She preceded him in death September 24, 2011.
Samuel owned and operated his own produce business, he was an Army Veteran and a member of the Assumption VFW Tacusah Post 6577.
Surviving are his step-son Eugene Theodore "Ted" Hoisington of Springfield, IL; step-granddaughters: Sarah (Aaron) K. Oberman of Reedsburg, WI and Amanda K. Gallas of Springfield, IL; step-great-grandsons: Justin and Issac; step-great-granddaughters: Brynn and Aetia.
Preceding him death are his wife and parents.
