Samuel G. Perryman, 80, of Moweaqua died November 22, 2013 in Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur.

Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday, November 26 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Burial will be in Bilyeu Cemetery, Moweaqua.

Full Military Honors by Moweaqua American Legion Post #370.

Memorials may be made to Moweaqua Ambulance Service and Moweaqua Fire Department.

Sam was born November 1, 1933 in Moweaqua the son of Gilbert and Mildred (Zindel) Perryman. He married Connie A. Scribner in Moweaqua October 27, 1957. She preceded him in death April 27, 1995. Sam later married Alice M. Knecht in Moweaqua April 7, 1997. She preceded him in death March 17, 2012.

Sam proudly served in the United States Army in Okinawa, during the Korean War, 1953-1954. Sam was an avid bowler. He loved traveling to visit his family.
Sam was retired from Caterpillar.

Surviving are his daughter LuAnn (Tim) Stringer of Macon, IL; grandsons: Brandon Stringer of St. Charles, MO and Matthew Stringer of East Peoria, IL; step-sons: Brian (Kathy) Knecht of Decatur, IL, Phillip (Jodi) Knecht of Madison, WI; step-daughters: Pamela (Jim) Huskey of Billings, MT, Sheila (Jim) Palmer of Apopka, FL, Rebecca (David) Trich of Billings, MT, Angela Knecht of Billings, MT, and Michelle Knecht of Billings, MT; many step-grandchildren and sister Nadine (James) Dial of Moweaqua, IL.

Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Connie and wife Alice.
