Ruth A. Sleeth, 94, of Moweaqua, died May 24, 2025, in Moweaqua Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025 in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.  Memorials may be made to Moweaqua First United Methodist Church Choir.

Ruth was born on February 7, 1931 in Harristown, IL, the daughter of Delbert and Della (Neibuhr) Smith.  She married Robert Sleeth on June 18, 1973 in Nokomis, IL.  He preceded her in death on November 2, 1999.

Ruth was a devoted member of Moweaqua First United Methodist Church, where she found great joy in singing with the choir and participating in the United Methodist Women.  Before her marriage, she spent many years working as a floral designer in Pana, IL, known as the "City of Roses."

Surviving are her nephews: Greg (Reenie) Sternberg of Bloomfield, CO and Timothy (Ali) Sternberg of Sequin, TX; and several great-nieces and nephews, and cherished friends.

Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, one brother, and one sister.
