Roy M. Harrold, 79, of Clinton, died November 5, 2023 in The Loft Rehabilitation of Decatur.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday , November 10, 2023 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Assumption, IL.  Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., prior to service time.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Assumption. Memorials may be made to Fraternal Order of Eagles #593 (Clinton), St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (Clinton) or St. Mary's Catholic Church (Assumption).

Roy was born on January 20, 1944 in Bloomington, IL, the son of Ross C. and Alice L. (Bottrell) Harrold.  He married Connie Bantner on September 2, 1986 in Decatur, IL.  She survives.

Roy was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Clinton, IL and Clinton Eagles FOE #593.

Surviving are his wife, Connie; daughters: Schelli Kirby of Clinton, IL and Carrie (Bill) Eike of Geneva, IL; three grandchildren; sister, Carol Harrold of Hastings, NE and sister-in-law, Martha Wilcox, of Kearney  Nebraska.

Preceding him in death are his parents and brother, Charles.
