Ronald was born September 15, 1951, in Assumption, IL, the son of Clyde and Thelma (Meyers) Slifer.
Surviving is his brother, Richard (Jill) Slifer of Assumption, IL and sisters, Edith Bilyeu of Pana, IL and Karen Norman of LaPlace, IL.
Preceding him in death are his parents, five brothers and five sisters.
