Robert Jay Ohl, 74, of Assumption, died October 24, 2025 in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.  A visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025, also in the funeral home.  Burial, with full military honors, will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Assumption, IL. Memorials may be made to Assumption VFW Tacusah Post #6577 or Assumption Public Library District.

Robert was born on April 5, 1951 in Pana, IL, the son of Jessie M. Ohl.  He married Arlene Davis on February 11, 1972 in Assumption, IL.  She survives.

Robert proudly served our country in the United States Army and was a member of the Assumption VFW Tacusah Post #6577.

Surviving are his wife, Arlene; daughters: Brenda (Vincent) Peck of Moweaqua, IL and Carol (Greg) Lozano of Bentonville, AR; grandchildren: Cheryl, Jared, Larissa, Zaksimus, Jack, and John; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Randy Ohl of Assumption, IL; and sister, Loretta Ohl of Toledo, IL.

Preceding him in death are his parents; daughter, Pamela Silva; grandson, Grant Silva; brother, Jerry; and sister, Glenda.
