Nyle Robert Hasslinger, Jr.

Nyle Robert "Bob" Hasslinger, Jr., of Lake Ozark, MO. died December 25, 2012 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. He was born June 5, 1951 in Decatur, IL, the son of Robert Sr. and Marilyn (Bracy) Hasslinger. He graduated from Assumption High School. He attended the University of Illinois- Champaign/Urbana and graduated from the University of Illinois-Springfield. He worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation. He taught at Lincolnland Community College. Later, he spent many years as a consultant in Information Technology for public and private entities.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Barbara Jo "Brytt" Boyle Hasslinger (Lake Ozark, MO); son, Technical Sergeant Robert Bruce Hasslinger, USAF, (of Dayton, OH, now stationed in Honduras) and his wife Schiavonn; grandsons Brodie Robert and Mason Robert Hasslinger, and mother, Marilyn Hasslinger.
There will be two memorial services. The first will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Assumption, Il. Visitation will be from 10:30 -11:30 am Saturday, December 29, 2012. Memorial service will follow at 11:30 am. The second service will be later in Lake Ozark, MO. Notification will be made to family, friends, and business associates.
