Robert F. "Bob" Hays, 80, of Moweaqua died July 29, 2014, at home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Oddfellows Cemetery, Moweaqua.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday, August 1, 2014 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Memorials may be made to Central A&M Athletic Department.

Bob was born March 15, 1934 in Moweaqua, the son of Ray D. and Emma (DeClerck) Hays. He married Mae Shuster in Moweaqua October 5, 1957. She survives.

Bob served in the United States Army. He was retired from Christy-Foltz.

Surviving is his wife Mae; son Alan (Christy) Hays of Assumption, IL; daughter Barbara (Jeff) Piraino of East Peoria, IL; grandchildren: Kyle and Mark Piraino of East Peoria, IL, Christopher (Emily) Howse of Columbia, MO, and Rachel Hays of Assumption, IL; great-grandchildren: Olivia and Avery Howse of Columbia, MO; brother Bud (Linda) Hays of Moweaqua, IL; sisters: Marilyn (Jerry) Kater of Moweaqua, IL and Karen Sue (Bill) Jordan of Decatur, IL; brother-in-law Don (Evelyn) Shuster of Moweaqua, IL.

Preceding him in death are his parents.
