Robert D. Bunning, 88, of Moweaqua died December 26, 2013 in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL.

Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in First Christian Church of Moweaqua, IL.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Monday, December 30, 2013 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, IL.

Burial will be in Long Grove Cemetery, near Macon, IL.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Moweaqua.

Robert was born August 25, 1925 in Moweaqua, IL the son of William Harold and Anna (Zimmerman) Bunning. He married Delsie Lambdin in Moweaqua, September 2, 1943. She preceded him in death July 17, 1998.

Robert was a member of First Christian Church of Moweaqua and Shelby County Farm Bureau. He was a lifelong farmer. Robert also worked many years as a carpenter with Joe Zindel. He served in the Army during WWII.

Surviving are his sons; Don Bunning of S. Charleston, WV, John (Linda) Bunning of San Antonio, NM, David (Kathy) Bunning of Moweaqua, IL; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and his very close friend, Frances Jackson.

Preceding him in death are his wife, two brothers and two sisters.
