Robert Andrew Baker Sr., 80, of Tower Hill died March 26, 2014 in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 29, 2014 in First Christian Church, Moweaqua. Casual attire is requested by the family.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.

Burial will be in Myers Cemetery, Herrick, IL., at a later date.

Military Honors by Moweaqua American Legion Post #370.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.

Robert was born September 21, 1933 in Cerro Gordo,IL the son of Jesse and Lucile (Warmoth) Baker. He married Irene Clark in Moweaqua January 19, 1989. She survives.

Robert served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church of Decatur, IL. He retired from A.E. Staley in 1990, after 39 years in research. Robert was also a home builder and an avid hunter & fisherman.

Surviving are his wife; daughter Robin (Robert) Tolley of Clearwater, FL; sons, Robert Jr. (Theresa) Baker of Cedar Rapids, IA, Rodney Baker of Decatur,IL, Randall (Carolyn) Baker of Tower Hill, IL; grandchildren, Ryan, Eric, Cameron "Hannah", Gabrielle, Tori, Stephen, Austin, Joshua and Olivia; great-grandchildren, MaKinzie and Cameron; brothers, Harvey Baker of Decatur, IL,John (Barb) Baker of Cerro Gordo, IL, Tom (Nancy) Baker of Oakley,IL; sisters, Lucile Warnhoff of Bell Rive, IL, JoAnn Kestner of Decatur,IL, Betty Valentine of Monticello,IL, Eileen (Jackie) Johnston of Fox, AR, and Mary (Mick) Valentine of Monticello, IL.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack, Bill and Ted Baker; sister Ethel Boggs and grandson Zachary Baker.
