Richard "Dick" Martincic, 75, of Assumption, died May 15, 2018, in his home.

Funeral Mass will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Assumption. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 12:00, prior to service time. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Assumption. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Cemetery Fund.

Dick was born August 3, 1942 in Witt, IL, the son of Frank and Emma (Briggs) Martincic. He married Jeannie Norris in Hillsboro, IL January 30, 1964. She survives.

Surviving are his wife, Jeannie; son Frank Martincic of Assumption, Il; daughter Tracie Langley of O'Fallon, MO; grandchildren: Clayton and John Chifos, Hunter and Hayden Martincic and Abigail Calvert; brother, Marty (Sandy) Martincic of Hillsboro, IL; sisters: Judy (Chuck) Wabbs of Denver, CO, Linda (Richard) Wendell of Litchfield, IL, Connie (Herschel) DeWitt of Butler, IL and Brenda Martin of Witt, IL.

Dick was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption, UAW Local #751 and was retired from Caterpillar.
