Richard L. "Dick" Vatthauer, 75, of Moweaqua, died August 29, 2017, in his home.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:30 p.m., prior to service time. Burial will be in Little Flock Cemetery, Assumption. Memorials may be made to Little Flock Baptist Church or Moweaqua Ambulance Service.

Dick was born May 2, 1942 in Moweaqua, the son of Gilbert A. and Helen M. (Creech) Vatthauer. He married Beverly Ann Wooters December 4, 1965 in Assumption. She preceded him in death August 11, 2014.

Dick was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Edinburg, IL and attended Little Flock Baptist Church of Assumption. He was a loving husband, dad, granddad and a lifelong livestock and grain farmer.

Surviving are his daughters: Tiffany Ann Sloan and Camille Ann (Kevin) Renfro, all of Moweaqua; grandchildren: Steele Stephen (Andrea M.) Sloan, Tanner Lee Sloan, Kline Leon (Jessica) Renfro and Madison Ann Renfro; great-grandson, Kendall Alan Renfro; brother, Robert (Judy) Vatthauer of Moweaqua and sister, Betty (Raymond) Pekovitch, of Moweaqua.

Preceding him in death are his wife, Beverly and his parents.
