Rhea Fouts, 80, of Assumption, died March 7, 2026 in her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.  A visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2026, also in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.  Memorials may be made to Assumption Christian Church or St. Paul's Church, Dollville, IL.

Rhea was born on December 31, 1945 in Bad Soden, Germany, the daughter of Jon and Maria (Yurtzova) Haizeruk.  She married Roger Lee Fouts on August 17, 1963 in Assumption, IL.  He survives.

Rhea was affiliated with St. Paul's Church of Dollville, IL as well as First Christian Church of Assumption.

Surviving are her husband, Roger; sons: Curtis (Gilma) Fouts of Colorado Springs, CO and Torrey (Jennifer) Fouts of Effingham, IL; grandchildren: Maria, John, Ana, Hannah, and Alexandria; and sister, Nina (William) Miller of Ocala, FL.

Preceding her in death are her parents and son, William Dean Fouts.
