Raymond A. Durbin, 87, of Litchfield, IL, and formerly of Assumption, IL, died September 10, 2025 at HSHS St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Private graveside services, with full military honors, will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery, Nokomis, IL.

Raymond honorably served his country in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer and remained a lifelong member of the Assumption VFW Tacusah Post #6577.

Surviving are his son, Shane Durbin of Godfrey, IL; brothers: Kenneth (Lonna) Durbin of Butler, IL, Butch Durbin of Hillsboro, IL, and Mike Durbin of Coffeen, IL; and sister, Virginia Treadway of Hillsboro, IL.

Preceding him in death are his parents; son, Corby Durbin; two brothers; and four sisters.
