Randy Lee Middleton, 66, of Assumption, died January 21, 2026 in his home.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.  Memorials may be made to Christian County Mental Health Association.

Randy was born on August 4, 1959 in Pana, IL, the son of Roger Lee Middleton and Marge (Peifer) Osborne.  He married Sharon Mindrup on February 24, 1995 in Taylorville, IL.  She survives.

Randy formerly worked for GSI in Assumption, IL. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, and raising flowers. Randy was a true puzzle expert—there wasn't a puzzle he couldn't solve.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon; sons: Robby Lee Middleton of Macon, IL and Dustin Wayne Middleton of Walland, TN; daughters: Alecia Pfeffer of Taylorville, IL, Lauren Sinnard of Tower Hill, IL, Lindsay Sinnard of Moweaqua, IL, and Hope Middleton of Assumption, IL; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Marge (Frank) Osborne of Pana, IL; brother, Harry (Loretta) Evans of Cowden, IL; and step-mom, Annie Sims of Pana, IL.

Preceding him in death is his father, Roger Middleton.
