Randy Sue Hall of Moweaqua, IL passed away August 21st, 2012 surrounded by the love of family and friends. Services will be followed by burial at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Moweaqua. A visitation will take place Friday, August 24th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Randy was born the second and middle child on April 24th, 1936 in Petersburg, Indiana to Orville
Glenn and Fetna Bruner Schell. Except when her parents moved to Grand Ridge, IL for a short time when she was small, Randy lived in Petersburg until her marriage. She attended Needmore and Alford Grade Schools and then Petersburg High School.

She was a waitress at City Cafe when she met her husband, William (Bill) Hall of Newberry, IN. They met on the Fourth of July and became engaged shortly thereafter on October 4th. They then married April 4th, 1953 in Newberry, IN at the home of a pastor. They celebrated 59 years together.

Their only child, Timarah (Timi) was born in Princeton, IN on December 10th, 1955. In 1956 they moved to Peoria, IL and then proceeded to briefly live in Amboy, Decatur, and Bethany before choosing to call Moweaqua their home in 1960. In one bedroom of the home they were renting, Randy & Bill opened Hall's Jewelry. In the early 60's they relocated to 123 North Main for some years and then to The Village Mall. In 1973, they went back to the same place they first opened their doors and built the building that would become both their home and Hall's Jewelry and Gifts. Randy & her family were long time members of The General Baptist Church of Moweaqua.

Randy is survived by her husband Bill, daughter Timarah "Timi" Kaufman (Brad) of Moweaqua, grandchildren, Natalie and Eric of Florida, Jack of Moweaqua, Catherine and fiancée Daniel of Decatur , and Kate (Walter) Harris of Texas, and Catherine's sons, Dylan and Kalen. Randy is also survived by her two sisters, Melva Lou (Jim) Heller and Judy Schell of Petersburg, and nieces and nephew: Becky, Melody, Angie, Debbie, Brenda and Brandon. She was preceded in death by her loving parents.

The family wishes to thank all of those who have provided care, cards, visits, gifts from area churches to the nursing home on occasion, and any little act of kindness shown to us throughout these past 11 months and prior to, while she was still at home.

A special thanks to Judy Lovall, Eleanor Brandenburg, Michelle Cook, Julie Vest, Pat Filchak, Pat Gregg, Harbor Light Hospice, First Baptist Church for the meal provided, and to all the loving nursing staff at Moweaqua Nursing Home who took care of our loved one. Memorials can be made in Randy's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or Gideons International.
