Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.  Burial will be in Michigan at a later date.  Memorials may be made to St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church of Moweaqua or Central A&M FFA.

Richard was born February 26, 1929 in Hamtramck, MI, the son of Aime Oscar and Berthe (Gauvin) Prudhomme.  He married Carol Burgener in Angola, IN September 6, 2002.  She survives.

Richard was a member of the Catholic Church.  He was a steel fabricator and owner of Oakland Welding, Inc. with his brothers.

Surviving are his wife, Carol; children: Rick (Mary) Prudhomme, David (Pat) Prudhomme, Gary (Lynn) Prudhomme, Michael (Nancy) Prudhomme, Janene (John) Heslip, Sharon (Ray) Privaloff, all of Michigan and Michele (Al) Stonehouse of California; step-sons: Brad (Stacy) Burgener, Bret (Angela) Burgener, Chad (Jonna) Burgener and Chris (Betsy) Burgener, all of Moweaqua; step-daughter, Kim (Dennis) Roggamen of Michigan; many grandchildren and step-grandchildren and sister, Joanne (Ted) Pilchowski of Michigan.

Preceding him in death are his parents and two brothers.
