Phillip Alan Bohlen, 82, of Moweaqua, passed away on January 13, 2021 in his home.

Graveside services will be at held at 10:30 a.m.  Friday, January 15, 2021 in Woodlawn (Oddfellows) Cemetery, Moweaqua. Social distancing and masks are recommended. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua.

Phillip was born on August 3, 1938 in Moweaqua, IL, the son of Haldon and Doris (Bilyeu) Bohlen.  He married Barbara Smith on January 8, 1971 in Chatham, IL.  She survives.

Phillip was a member of First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua and proudly served in the United States Air Force.  He loved farming and farmed his entire life.  He was a loving husband during the fifty years of marriage and a wonderful father and grandfather.

Surviving is his wife, Barbara; children: Tina (Steve) Dillon of Rock Falls, IL, Ron (Susan) Ferrari of Encinitas, CA, Debbie (Carl) Zindel of Stanford, IL, Robert (Shelly) Ferrari of Bartlett, TN, and Dawn (Pete) Brosamer of Decatur, IL; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers: David Bohlen of Springfield, IL, Thom (Sherry) Bohlen of Champaign, IL, Kenneth (Sandy) Bohlen of Springfield, IL and Roger Bohlen; and sister, Anne Bohlen of High Point, NC.

Preceding him in death are his parents, one brother and one sister.
