Paul E. Overby, Jr., 58, of Assumption, died August 14, 2020, in his home.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 17, 2020 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., prior to service time. Please wear masks and practice social distancing. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Paul was born December 3, 1961 in Dekalb, IL, the son of Paul E. and Dorothy (Beck) Overby, Sr.  He married Patricia McCabe in Dekalb, IL on September 8, 1979.  She survives.

Paul worked for McLeod Express, as a truck driver, for over twenty-five years.  He loved boating, fishing, hunting, camping, riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his grandkids.

Surviving  is his wife, Patricia; son, Jeremy (Caitlin) Overby of Assumption, IL; daughters: Christy (Matt) Bolyard of Nokomis, IL and Melissa Overby of Assumption, IL; grandchildren: Connor, Kurtis, Austin, Hailey, Colt, Avery and Garrett; and sister, Tammy (Kevin) Metz of Geneva, OH.

Preceding him in death are his parents.
