Paul Eugene Kroenlein, 95, of Moweaqua died June 13, 2015 in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL.

Graveside services will be 10:30 am Thursday, June 18, 2015 in Oddfellows Cemetery, Moweaqua. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Masonic services will follow at 8pm. Memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.

Paul was born May 19, 1920 in Oconee, IL the son of George Nicholas and Bertha Della (Tabor) Kroenlein. He married Marietta Buckley in St. Louis, MO in 1940. She preceded him in death in 1963. Paul later married LaVon Robinson-Burgener in 1972. She survives.

Paul was a member of First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua, Masonic Lodge 180 AF & AM, Springfield Consistory, Ansar Shrine and Past Worthy Patron of Eastern Star. He served as Shelby County Supervisor and board member, Moweaqua Elevator board member and Penn Township Supervisor. Paul was a farmer, pilot, co-owner of FBAC Go-Kart Track and 1st Kawasaki dealer in the down state area.

Surviving is his wife Lavon; son, Don (Linda) Kroenlein of Moweaqua; step-sons: Larry (Sandy) Burgener of Moweaqua and Mike (Diane) Burgener of Moweaqua; grandchildren: Rodney Kroenlein of Decatur, IL, Andrea Kroenlein of Moweaqua, Adam Burgener of Killeen, TX, Kelly Gregory of Wentzville, MO and Leann Estrada of Moweaqua and 7 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents and first wife Marietta.
