Paul D. "Eman" Eastep, 65, of Assumption, died March 5, 2024 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.  Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024, also in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Knobs Cemetery, Dollville,  IL.  Memorials may be made to Assumption Firemans Club or Assumption Ambulance Service.

Paul was born on August 5, 1958 in Decatur, IL, the son of Gerald and Flossie (Beck) Eastep. He worked for GSI in Assumption, IL for forty-one years and loved listening to music , mowing and living life to the fullest.

Surviving are his best friend Mouse (Chris) Harris; special family: Kylie (Austin) Gruber, Kane and Kelce Gruber; and two brothers.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Gerald and Flossie Eastep.
