Patsy J. Nave, 80, of Bloomington, IL, died August 27, 2019 in Normal, IL.

Celebration of Life services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2019 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption, IL.  Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., prior to service time.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.  Memorials may be made to Special Olympics.

Patsy was born October 29, 1938 in Assumption, IL, the daughter of Render and Ruby (Lamb) Garrett.  She married Paul Nave in 1958.

Surviving are her children: Pam Rearden of Bloomington, IL, Chuck (Vicki Groves) Nave of Carpentersville, IL, and Mike (Lori) Nave of Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren: Steven Nave of Birmingham, AL, Aaron Haggerty of Manchester, NH and Brennan Haggerty of Jacksonville, IL; and sister, Dorothy Speagle of Taylorville, IL.

Patsy was also "mom" to hundreds of students as a resident director at Illinois College for over 30 years.  She retired in 2012.  Over the years she touched  many lives with her caring and kindness.  Her life revolved around her family and friends who she loved beyond measure.  She will be missed by so many.
