Norma J. Ringo, 90, of Ocala, FL., formerly of Moweaqua, IL died July 5, 2017 in Ocala
Health & Rehab Center.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 in First Christian Church,
Moweaqua. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time. Burial will be in
Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua.

Memorials may be made to Hospitality Committee of Moweaqua Christian Church.

Norma was born in Moweaqua, IL. on June 13, 1927, the daughter of Otis and Opal (Thompson) McLain. She married Gerald E. Ringo May 31, 1945 in Moweaqua. He preceded her in death May 1, 2014.

Norma was a member of First Christian Church of Moweaqua since 1944 and worked as janitor of church for 15 years and a graduate of Moweaqua High School, class of 1945.

Surviving are her son, Gary (Charlene) Ringo of Newberry, FL.; two grandchildren;
Scott (Melissa) Ringo of Virginia Beach, VA., Tonya Ringo of Alachua, FL:
three great-grandchildren; Andrew (Tracy) Cona of Brandon, FL., Skyla and Tristain
Ringo of Virginia Beach, VA.; brothers: Leon (Betty) McLain of Decatur, IL., and James (Carole) McLain of Moweaqua, IL.; and sister, Joan Short of Decatur, IL.

Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, and bothers, John and Robert McLain and brother in law, Paul Short.
