Norma Jean Newcome, 97, of Moweaqua, died December 20, 2020 in her home.

Private graveside services will be held in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua.  Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church Youth Group.

Norma was born on October 27, 1923 in Prairieton Township, IL, the daughter of Marshall and Mildred (Marshall) Nichols.  She married Robert T. Newcome on March 15, 1941 in Moweaqua.  He preceded her in death on September 17, 1985. Norma was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Moweaqua.

Surviving are her daughters: Beverly Griffith of Aubrey, TX, Patricia (Ron) Long, Sue (Terry) Smith, Tami (David) Jones,  all of Moweaqua, IL and Brenda (Tom) Sargeant of Blue Mound, IL; son, Bob (Donna) Newcome of Bethany, IL; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and sister, Betty West of Nokomis, IL.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Robert, parents, four brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter and one son-in-law.
