Mildred "Millie" Sanner, 97, of Moweaqua, died May 26, 2017 in her home, surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Visitation will be from 11:00 – 1:00, prior to service time. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to Moweaqua Ambulance Service.
Mildred was born February 2, 1920 in Upton, KY, the daughter of Arthur and Stella (Wood) Jenkins. She married Karl D. Sanner June 20, 1939 in Princeton, MO. He preceded her in death April 6, 1974.
Mildred was a member of Sanner Chapel United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and a former Girl Scout leader. She belonged to the Sanner Chapel and Town & Country Girls bowling teams. Mildred owned and operated Millie's Antiques & Collectables for over 40 years. She loved rummage sales, but more than anything she loved her family.
Surviving are her children, Donald Truman (Lois) Sanner of Decatur and Linda Ann (Donald) Kroenlein of Moweaqua; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and special niece, Brenda Jenkins.
Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, five brothers and one sister.
