Michele Rene Yost Hays, 47, of Moweaqua died December 20, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.
Visitation will be from 4-7 pm, Thursday December 26, 2013 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, IL. Prayer service will follow at 7:00 pm, with Father Don Wolford officiating.
Memorials may be made to a trust account for her children.
Michele was born March 3, 1966 in Sacramento, CA, the daughter of David E. and Lennie (Pemberton) Yost.
Michele worked for Verizon Wireless.
Surviving are her parents, David and Lennie Yost of Decatur, IL; sons, Nicholas (Paige) Roach of Moweaqua, Alexander and Lucas Hays, at home; granddaughter, Norah Michele Roach; brother, David S. Yost of Fairbanks, AK; and Grandmother Theresa Pemberton of Springfield, IL.
The family would like to offer a "Special Thanks" to all of her caregivers at New Orleans, LSU, Cancer Care and her "Special Friends", Tyell, Laura, Sherry and Valerie.
