Michael  W. "Mick" Henn, 77, of Assumption, left us at 1:07 a.m. July 12, 2019.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.  Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00, prior to service time.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.  Memorials may be made to Assumption Public Library.

Michael was born November 29, 1941 in Moweaqua, IL, the son of Louis and Virginia (Williams) Henn.  He married Chiquita Wicker February 4, 1976 in Savannah, TN.  She survives.

Michael was a member of Assumption VFW Tacusah Post #6577 and Assumption American Legion Post #284.  He served his county with the United States Navy and was retired from Caterpillar, Inc. after 35 years of service.  Michael was a foster parent for over twenty years and an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Chicago Bears fan.

Surviving are his wife; sons: Kenny (Lisa) Lindahl of Tower Hill, IL and Brian (Theresa) Lindahl of Springfield, IL; daughters: Kayla (Rick) Bingaman, Sr. of Blue Mound, IL and Christie (Jim) Moore of Taylorville, IL; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers: Alan Henn of Assumption, IL, Brian (Bev) Henn of Stonington, IL and Tom (Donna) Henn of Assumption, IL; sisters: Cathy (Doug) Nottingham, Jeanine (Darryl) Caudle, Deena (Dirk) Shuck and Erin (Mike) Choatie, all of Assumption, IL

Preceding him in death are his parents.
