Mary Louise Trumper, age 92, of Assumption, passed on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.

Funeral Mass will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 in St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.  Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Altar Society or Assumption Historical Society.

Mary was born April 19, 1926 in Assumption, the daughter of Rolla C. and Lena M. (Jackson) Sloan.  She married Leo B. Trumper May 7, 1947 in Moline, IL.  He preceded her in death June 11, 2017.

Mary was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption and St. Mary's Altar Society.

Surviving are her daughters: Jill Trumper of Sullivan, IL and Carol (Tom) Trumper-Lowe of Allen, TX; grandchildren: Spencer and Jackson Lowe of Allen, TX , Lindsey Trumper of Austin, TX and Zachary Trumper of New Lenox, IL; great grandchild, Abby Trumper; brother, Larry Sloan of Orange Beach, AL and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Mark Trumper; parents and brother, Rollin Sloan.

Mary Louise studied Fine and Applied Arts for two years at the University of Illinois before marrying and starting a family.  Her hobbies included scrapbooking, china painting and quilting.
