Mary Ann Eversole, 97, of Assumption, died April 5, 2025 in the Eastern Star Home, Macon, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025 in Tower Hill Christian Church, Tower Hill, IL, with a visitation one hour prior to service time.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption, IL.  Memorials may be made to Tower Hill Christian Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Mary Ann was born on July 3, 1927, in Mt. Auburn, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Maude (Pinkston) Hertel.  She married Lyle Eversole on April 25, 1946 in Moweaqua, IL. They would have been married 79 years this month.  He survives.

Mary Ann was a member of Tower Hill Christian Church, Home Extension Club and Tacusah Chapter of O.E.S. of Assumption, where she was a past Worthy Matron.  She was also a member of the John Morrison Memorial Appalachian Group and served on many Election Boards.  Mary Ann was known for her excellent cooking and baking, sharing pies, cookies and rolls with many.  She had a deep faith and love for God, and she shared that with her family and friends daily.  Her greatest joy on this earth was sharing life with her husband Lyle and being a Mom and Grandma.

Surviving is her husband, Lyle; son, Craig (Missy) Eversole of Morton, IL; grandsons: Nick (Carly) Eversole, Grant Eversole and Connor Eversole; and great-granddaughter, Windalynn Eversole.

Preceding her in death are her parents, sisters, Maxine and Violet, and grandson, Sean Eversole.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Eastern Star Home, Dr Wall, and family friend Rhea Fouts for caring for her these past few years.
