Mary Elizabeth Erbe, 70, of Beecher City, died January 11, 2021 in her home.

No services will be held.

Mary was born on September, 8, 1950 in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of James P. and Madelene May (Doty) Lewis.  She married Kenneth Erbe on May 28, 2004 in Taylorville, IL.  He survives.

Mary was a  beloved wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a graduate of Macon High School, class of 1968.  She formerly worked for Health Care Management at Fogel House in Shelbyville, IL and retired from International Paper and Champion Laboratories, Inc.  Mary enjoyed shopping, playing Bingo and working in her yard and garden.  She loved animals, fishing, camping and boating.

Surviving is her husband, Kenneth; son, Roy Meserole of Branchville, IN; step-daughter, Alisha Erbe of Shelbyville, IL; two grandchildren; sisters: Ann Lewis and Margaret Sumner of Fairfield, IL and  Marlena Hearn of Cisne, IL; brothers: Jimmy Lewis of Nashville, TN and Jeffrey Lewis of Macon, IL; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and four special puppies.

Preceding her in death are her parents, grandparents, brother, Jerry Lewis and step-son, Kenny Erbe.
