Martin J. Myers, Jr., 96, of Mt. Zion, IL died January 19, 2015 in Heritage Health, Mt. Zion, IL.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 24, 2015 in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua, IL.

Full Military Honors by Moweaqua American Legion Post #370.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.

Martin was born February 20, 1918 in Long Creek, IL the son of Martin and Lelia (Grindol) Myers, Sr. He married Wilma "Tokie" Howard in Moweaqua, May 4,1952. She survives.

Martin was a member of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church and Dalton City American Legion Post 475. He proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army. Martin was a retired farmer.

Surviving is his wife Wilma; sister-in-laws: Evelyn "Boots" Lowe of Moweaqua,IL and Betty (P.J.) Cearlock of Englewood, FL.; nephews: David Oberlink, Doug Oberlink and Rickie Myers; nieces: Sue Oberlink and Nickie Myers.

Preceding him in death are his parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.
