Mark A. Trumper, 65, of Charleston, IL passed away February 20, 2015, in his home.

Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Assumption, IL., with a private burial.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption, IL.

Mark was born November 11, 1949 in Pana, IL, the son of Leo and Mary Louise (Sloan) Trumper. Mark was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather (Papaw). He was the second generation owner of Assumption Oil Company in Assumption, IL.

Mark's passion for design led him through a Masters in Art at Eastern Illinois University and carried over into his hobbies of classic cars and boats. He was a talented artist, enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, traveling to the Lake of the Ozarks with his family, and spending time with his granddaughter.

Surviving are his parents, Leo and Mary Louise Trumper of Assumption; children: Lindsey Trumper of Austin, TX and Zachary Trumper of Charleston, IL; granddaughter Abigail of Mahomet, IL; sisters: Jill Trumper of Sullivan, IL and Carol (Tom) Lowe and nephews Spencer and Jackson of Allen, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Carle HVI Heart Center 611 West Park St. Urbana, IL 61801 or the American Heart Association.
