Marilyn A. Burrus, 89, of Assumption died July 26, 2015, in Heritage Manor, Pana, IL.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am. Saturday, August 1, 2015 in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption, IL.
Marilyn was born December 22, 1925 in Salem, IL the daughter of James H. and Ruth G. (Jones) Swanson. She married William Cooper in Moweaqua, IL. He preceded her in death. She later married Aaron Wysong in Assumption, IL. He also preceded her in death. She married Dwight Burrus April 19, 2008 in Assumption. He survives.
Marilyn was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption and a housewife.
Surviving is her husband, Dwight; step-sons: David (Cheri) Wysong of Pana, IL, Robert Wysong of Bloomington, IL and Mike Burrus of Assumption, IL; step-daughter, Susan (John) Morrissey of Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Paige Hite of Denton, TX, William Butler of Springfield, IL and Cameron Butler of Springfield, IL; 5 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; daughter, Catherine Cooper; husbands, William Cooper and Aaron Wysong.
