Mae Belle Christian, 88, of Pana passed away on Saturday, July 11 ^th 2020 at 6:15 p.m. in her home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020 in Greenwood Cemetery, Assumption, IL. Memorials may be made to the organization of your choice.

Mae Belle was born on December 14, 1931 in Langleyville, Illinois, the daughter of William Arthur and Mary Elizabeth (Condor) Phillips. Mae Belle married Leland Christian on April 7 ^th , 1947 in Taylorville, Illinois and he preceded her in death on June 9, 1996. Mae Belle worked as a nurses aid at Pana Community Hospital for 28 years. Mae Belle loved to play bingo.

Mae Belle is survived by her daughters: Patricia Presnell of Pana, IL and Linda (Shawn) Durbin of Vero Beach, Florida. Grandchildren: Dede (Mike) Pollard, Timothy (Jennifer) Christer, Kevin (Jamie) Christer, Samantha Mounts, Alicia (Cody) Mounts all of Pana, IL and Dennis Elmore of Coco Beach, Florida. 17 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Mae Belle was preceded in death by her parents, husband,daughter, Barbara Christer, brothers: Laverne, Eugene, John and Bernard Phillips, Leo and Jim Thomas. Sisters: Ruby Kalka and Pearl Moomey. Also by her beloved Jake.
