Lyle D. Waite, 87, of Moweaqua died January 7, 2013 (8:30pm) in the Moweaqua Nursing and Retirement Center.
Private family graveside services will be Saturday, January 12, 2013 in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua.
Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 pm Saturday in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Lyle was born April 25, 1925 in Moweaqua, IL the son of Harry G. and Clara (Wilber) Waite. He married Margaret E. Marko in Arcola, IL April 25, 1948. She preceded him in death on October 7, 2005.
Lyle served his country during World War II in the Army Air Force. He was a farmer and loved woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Surviving are his sons; Michael Waite of Decatur, IL, Ronald Waite of Maroa,IL, daughters; Linda and husband Stephen Grabowski of West Lafayette, IN, Cindy and husband Rick Radliff of Downs,IL, eight grandchildren, brother David and wife Janet Waite of Blue Mound, IL, sister Betty and husband Jim Myers of Evansville, IN, brother-in-law John E. Marko and sister-in-law Pauline Marko.
Preceding him in death are his wife,parents, brother Haldon Dean, sister-in-laws Charlene Waite and Anne Marko and brother-in-law Harold Marko.
