Linda L. Wiseman, 86, of Moweaqua, died at home on August 18, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, with a visitation from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., prior to service time. Casual attire is requested.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Moweaqua.  Memorials may be made to First Christian Church.

Linda was born on October 6, 1938 in White Heath, IL, the daughter of Fred and Ruth (Furnish) Rambo, Jr.  She married William "Bill" Wiseman on September 28, 1957 in Macon, IL.  He survives.

Linda was an active member of First Christian Church of Moweaqua and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.  She served the community by volunteering at the Food Pantry, preparing funeral dinners through her church, and supporting youth activities such as bowling, baseball and softball.  Linda formerly worked for the Moweaqua Packing Plant, the Central A&M School cafeteria, Moweaqua Bowl, and Schmahl & Burton Amoco.  She loved to bowl and to tend to her yard.

Surviving are her husband, Bill; sons: Kevin (Debbie) Wiseman and Gerald (Lisa) Wiseman, all of Moweaqua, IL; daughter, Lucinda "Cindy" (Dennis) Linton of Macon, IL; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Homer (Marilyn) Rambo of Forsyth, IL; and sisters: Mabel Willis of Decatur, IL and Vivian Stiner, of Moweaqua, IL.

Preceding her in death are her parents; sisters: Shirley and Barbara; and grandson, Steven.
