Lawrence C. Galvin, 91, of Moweaqua, formerly of Assumption, died March 8, 2025, in Moweaqua Rehabilitation & Health Care.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025 in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Assumption, IL.  Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Lawrence was born on September 18, 1933, in Assumption, IL, the son of Lawrence M. "Bill" and Lela (Donovan) Galvin. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption, IL and was retired from Firestone.

Surviving are David Beals of Moweaqua, IL; sons: Mike Galvin and Steve Galvin; several grandchildren; and sister, Pat Weger of Assumption.

Preceding him in death are his parents; one son; and devoted life partner, Mildred Beals.
