Kisty M. Cox, 55, of Decatur, died December 3, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption. A visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family of Kisty Cox.

Kisty was born on November 21, 1969, in Hillsboro, IL, the daughter of Jilda R. (Hebert) and Bobby D. Rogers. She married Roger D. Cox on December 4, 1992, in Taylorville, IL. They later divorced but remained friends.

Kisty spent twenty years as a dedicated nurse and ten years as a hospice nurse. The loving care she showed to her hospice families was evident, as she was honored with a nomination for and receipt of the Daisy Award. Kisty was a huge fan of the Denver Broncos and the St. Louis Cardinals. She loved shopping, and enjoyed music and attending concerts. Most of all, Kisty loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter, Kindall (Daniel Reynolds) Cox of Moweaqua, IL; parents: Bobby (Lynn) Rogers of Atlanta, IL, and Jill (Richard) Slifer of Assumption, IL; grandchildren: Arlo D. Reynolds and Iyla J. Reynolds; sisters: Kathy (Tim) Prosser of Springfield, IL, and Jackie (Scott) Vancil of Land O' Lakes, FL; as well as special nieces: Alexandra Vancil and Myla Vancil.
