Keith C. Corzine, 93, of Assumption died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 (3:50 am) in St. John's Hospital, Springfield.

Services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Memorial Presbyterian Church, Assumption.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Friday, September 7, 2012 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.

Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption, Illinois, with full military honors by Illinois Military Funeral Honor Guard and Tacusah VFW Post # 6577 of Assumption.

Keith was born June 11, 1919, in Assumption, Illinois. He was the son of Guy and Leona (Rasbach) Corzine. He married Norma Jean Metzger in Westervelt, Illinois on December 26, 1946. She preceded him in death on February 21, 2006.

Keith proudly served his country during World War II with the 8th Army Air Corps as a glider pilot and also bomber mechanic.

He was a member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church, VFW Tacusah Post #6577, and American Legion Post #284, all of Assumption. Keith was a retired farmer.

Surviving are his son Stephen and wife Patty Corzine of Sellersburg, IN; son Philip and wife Carolyn Corzine of Assumption, IL; daughter Susan and husband Ron Singleton of Fernandina Beach, FL; sister Betty Peterson of Harlingen,TX; grandchildren Matthew and wife Lyndi Corzine, Nathan Corzine and Jenny, Amanda Corzine, Shannon Easley and husband Jerimiah, Leslie Singleton, Michelle Corzine, Andrea Corzine; step-grandchildren Melissa Burgin, Sarah and husband Andrew McDaniel, Amber and husband Tim Korte; great-grandchildren Ellie, Alexander, William and Kaylee.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brother John Corzine.
