Julia H. VanDeventer, 86, of Decatur, died August 16, 2024 in her home.

Per Julia's wishes, there will be no services.

Julia was born on March 30, 1938 in Ashland, IL.  She married Larry VanDeventer on February 23, 1959 in Assumption, IL.  He survives.

Surviving are her husband, Larry; sons: Larry VanDeventer of Mt. Zion, IL and Kelsey VanDeventer of Decatur, IL; daughter, Susan (Michael) Murphy of Gray Court, SC; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; son, Dennis; and daughter, Michelle.
