Juanita "Johnny" Ellen Goodrich, 86, of Moweaqua, died November 21, 2023 in her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023 in Destiny Fellowship Church, Moweaqua.  Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., prior to service time.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Moweaqua.  Memorials may be made to the Family of Juanita Goodrich.

Johnny was born on August 27, 1937 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Ira L. and Thelma I. (Snyder) Wright.  She married Leo V. Goodrich, Sr. on April 29, 1956 in Moweaqua, IL.  He preceded her in death on April 11, 1994.

Johnny was a member of Destiny Fellowship Church of Moweaqua.  She was an avid Bingo player and loved the Chicago Cubs and cooking.  Johnny served her community by helping with Peace Meals and as an in-home caregiver for many years.  She formerly worked for Kentucky Lithograph in Macon, IL the Hog Trough Restaurant in Moweaqua and was retired from K-Mart.

Surviving are her children: Carol (James)  Skotzke of Shelby Twp MI, Laurie (Bob) Kirby of San Antonio, FL, Chris (Amanda) Goodrich of Calhoun, LA, and Josh Goodrich of Moweaqua, IL; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers: George Wright of Decatur, IL and Donald (Diane) Wright of Mt. Zion, IL; and sister-in-law, Carmen Wright of Madera, CA.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Leo; son, Leo Goodrich, Jr.; brothers: Stephen, Ira, Jr. and Rodney; and sisters: Cleta and Nancy.
